In terms of furnishings, it's a slightly older restaurant, but that doesn't affect the quality of the food. The Förster Cordon Bleu is one of the best Cordon Bleus I have ever eaten! The French fries, on the other hand, were mediocre, unfortunately a little too soft, that can happen. The staff speaks Swiss German, some with a slight accent. What Peter Mangold doesn't like about Baeren:
Nice service, but all in all a bit “old fashioned”. We came specifically because we knew that local beer (Farnsburger) was served. It took about 10 minutes after ordering for us to receive our drinks. The beer was also a month past its expiration date but we didn't realize that until late. View all feedback.

The food doesn't taste good... and there are cockroaches upstairs where the boss rents rooms. I don't want to know what it looks like in the restaurant kitchen... unfriendliness is the order of the day there
