Super sympathetic place in one of the most beautiful places in Germany! Absolutely delicious and vegan alternatives! Prices very moderate for a day tour! Our staff is very helpful and friendly. View all feedback.
What Alwin Janßen doesn't like about Bergwirtschaft Kuhstall:
We were doing quite a long walk in the national park and were pleased to find the word vegan on a menu of Berggasthaus Kuhstall. We ordered the lentil soup which was good. The price was okay (6 EUR for a medium sized serve) and there was not much other vegan choice. If this restaurant was in a city, I would not overly recommend it, but the place it is situated in really makes it worth to go here: The viewpoint right... View all feedback.
Situated in a very picturesque location on top of one of the miraculous stone formations of the region, this pub is a welcomed treat for a lunch or brunch. With a nice selection of food and beverages as well as friendly staff, you will be sure to enjoy you break there.
Vegan lens cup available. surprisingly good. there are some vegetarian sweets, but no vegans.
In Germany and Austria there are few Veggie options at such locations. here you will find a nice selection of delicious snacks.
This restaurant is perfectly located in the national park, they can take the tram and start their walk near as we did or plan a passage around the midday period. the point of view is amazing and the restaurant offers a vegan dish that is a filling and delicious lentil soup with something brot, and they can opt for an additional salat. they have to order their food at the counter, but also at a busy weekend we had to wait only about 20 minutes. we could even find a place outside on the terrace. remember that they need to bring back their dishes at the counter, so for all inclusive service they should not stop here, but we were very glad to find this place along our walk!
I had not expected to find something vegan in a tourist site in the forest when we finished our hike, so I was pleased that there was something offered. the place itself is of course perfect (only google kuhstall sky ladder and is worth a visit. there is a vegan dish on the menu, lentil soup, and they can also find a glass organic soy milk on the menu. it is possible to have a coffee or a hot chocolate with it. prices are slightly higher, as expected for a tourist location at a place not as easily accessible. but I really think they offer something.
