I can’t say enough good things about this little place. Can across it by chance. The chicken fried steak was fantastic, plenty of fries and gravy. A large ice tea is a large. The salad bar leaves something to be desired, but I didn’t go there for rabbit food. I will return whenever I pass through Liberty. 5 stars. View all feedback.
The pork chops are a must-try! You absolutely have to sample the pork. It's authentic soul food from Southeast Texas.

The omelettes here are the best around! However, I found the catfish to be a bit disappointing—there was too much black skin and it had a muddy taste. On the bright side, the catfish steaks are fantastic!
I can't recommend this little restaurant enough! I stumbled upon it by chance, and I'm so glad I did. The chicken fried steak was amazing, and there were plenty of fries and gravy to go around. The large iced tea is truly large! While the salad bar could use some improvement, I didn't come here for a salad. I will definitely be back whenever I'm in Liberty. 5 stars!
