Mandarin Tea Garden - Butuan City

The food was excellent and the ambiance was calm. This restaurant would be the perfect setting for a business meeting anytime.

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, especially the Chinese-style dishes. My favorite is the soy chicken. The new location is much more convenient for me.

The restaurant is easy to find and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. However, the parking situation is challenging as it is shared with other building tenants, especially during construction. It's unfortunate because I would love to visit again whenever I'm in the area, but the current setup is a hindrance.

I can't get over their Chinese dishes esp the bird's nest soup, the Yang Chow fried rice, dumplings, even the siopao (the asado is my favorite). The meals are served in big sizes, ideal for sharing. Every time I visit I always make sure to try other dishes like the ones with vegetables and seafoods. They are consistent with the freshness of the food, served fresh and hot, and most of all the prices are so easy on the budget. A plus now is their new location which is at the Watergate Centre.

Part of the Watergate commercial centre, The mandarin tea garden perfectly complements my craving for fast chinese food. The decor is unassuming but the dishes such as the beef wanton noodles is piping hot and flavourful. Overall a cheap and delicious place for me to grab a quick and delicious chinsse food.
