Mikyna - Liberec

The coffee is good, but they only offer milk. I liked her suppe, but the staff works slowly so I had to wait quite ahile.

There were some vegan options on the menu (but eating from the brunch menu is only until 16:00, then I think it's just the cake on the counter, and unfortunately there were no vegan options today.) I had the toast (was delicious) and the brunch plate (they have both a vegetarian and a vegan option of the brunch plate, I had the vegan version).

Great place! Extremely nice staff, tasteful food, however, mainly vegetarian, not vegan.

Mikyna has a bit of a hip Swedish atmosphere and is a nice cafe in general: They have a small menu, a counter with a lot of cakes on display and very friendly staff. On the day we have been there, no meal on the menu was marked as vegan staff explained to us (who did not understand/speak Czech) that everything can be made vegan by leaving away some things like cheeses form the dishes. While they were very friendly, I thought it to be a bit sad for a vegetarian place not to offer any meal that is vegan by itself. Anyway, the food we got was really nice and it also did not taste like it was lacking anything at all. I absolutely recommend this place but as a vegan, make sure that you ask before you order!
