We were driving in from the Secret Waterfall in pouring down rain, starving from the hike and swimming under the waterfall that was surging like a ferocious dragon. I quickly called ahead because they were closing in a few moments.Smitty answered the phone and took our order and in 3 hot minutes we were mowing down a Kalapaki Burger and a Kawaii Burger. Good old fashioned smash burger and fries. Good beer and wine list. The food was fresh and the service was excellent.
I absolutely love Smitty Burger. I only left three stars because I hate the ours. I like to eat lunch around 12 and they are never open.
This place has the best smash burgers! This place is in walking distance from our hotel (Royal Sonesta) and we enjoyed eating lunch here one day. The staff was SO nice and the burgers and fries were amazing. This is a must stop while you are in Lihue.
