They are welcoming and sm... read more On a 3 hour journey on a very hot day we passed this restaurant and the sign for glaces. The owners could not have been more friendly. They are welcoming and smiley and were careful to clarify what exactly we wanted with our limited French. Whilst waiting for our ice creams we were given a welcome jug of iced water an unexpected surprise. My partner had a simple 2 boules and I asked for a banana split. Although no banana was available the lady offered me a strawberry ‘split’ with strawberry sorbet, chantilly cream, vanilla ice cream, ample fresh strawberries and mint, garnished with a spray of fresh redcurrants. It looked and tasted delicious. We would recommend this little gem to anyone and will make a point of passing by here again in the future.
