The property is in a traditional buil... read more We drove here from Julienas as our hotel restaurant was closed. Found info on the web and made a reservation on a Tuesday. The property is in a traditional building in a small village. The traditional decor is a little tired and could benefit from a rehab. NOW FOR THE REALLY GOOD PART!Our dining experience was excellent. My wife eats seafood but no other meat. The chef, Fred, was able to provide a creative & delicious multi course meal, including Aperitif and a bottle of local wine, for slightly over 100 euros. We actually let the chef select and prepare each course within the parameters we set. Each item was truly excellent: Perfectly cooked and distinctively presented. In no way are we qualified to rate the meal in relationship to true "French" standards. However I would use the following terms to describe the various courses: subtle but distinctive, perfect preparation, beautiful presentation, and excellent service.
