We love visiting Southland Bagel on the weekends and their Just Beet It sandwich is a favorite. All of their bagels and spreads are great, but it seems that they’re never toasted enough. They come out of the toaster looking the same and are cold by the time we get to them.UPDATE: After requesting our bagels be double toasted, they were again only slightly warmed, as shown in these photos. Great bagels! Love the easy ordering and pickup. The sweet treats are also awesome. Especially those little whopper cookies they make.
Not sure what to say. The bagels were really good. I really like avocados but I found something it doesn't go with. When we ordered an orange juice was told if it's not in the cooler they don't have any. While we sat there eating our bagels she went and filled the cooler with orange juice.
I had an amazing bagel sandwich at this restaurant. The wait time was not too long and the staff were very welcoming. The food was delicious!
In my opinion, this is one of the best bagel spots in Lexington. The bagels are consistently great and they are generous with the cream cheese. They also offer my boyfriend's favorite, goetta, and my favorite combination, cream cheese and egg. I personally prefer fried eggs over scrambled, but overall this place has excellent bagels!
You won't find your typical bagel flavors here at Southland Bagels! They offer a delicious taste of local flavors. We tried the Rocksteady with Asiago Bagel and Sun Dried Truffle Cream Cheese, as well as the Go Goetta on Herb de Province. To top it off, we also had the peach chai latte. We highly recommend stopping by this unique spot in Lexington for a taste of something different!
