Southland Bowling Lanes - Lexington

Enjoyed going there! Staff was nice and helpful, felt pretty clean for a bowling alley. Two tips though! First: The pricing online and in person are a little different, from what I could understand or at least it felt that way. I understand why booking online is convenient for all parties, but the options were much more limited in terms of the number of hours or lanes you could reserve for. I also couldn't tell if I needed to reserve shoes or not? Second: Weekend nights are suuuuuper busy, I wouldn't even bother if you haven't made a reservation. But we went on a Sunday afternoon (3ish) and were able to walk right in with no wait. Less crowded too! Would give 5 stars if the online reservation system was less confusing and easier to use!

Had a good time. Went during a time where there was little wait, they will text you when your number is up. There is a full service bar and concessions area while you wait, along with a mini-arcade area. The lanes and balls are about what you would expect for the pricing, however, novice and pro-level bowlers will both appreciate the upkeep of the lanes compared to some other local options with bowling that might be higher priced or have other attractions in them.

Managed to bowl a turkey here. Staff is fast and prices are fair. Cosmic bowling starts at 9 pm. Unfortunately the balls don't glow in the dark. Also, expect the place to be packed on weekends.

Staff was nice, it was clean, and pricing was good! Fun time with kids.
