The food here is fantastic, reminding me of all the gatherings I had on my street during my childhood. I grew up in an area rich in Latino culture. I usually start with the chicken fajita to gauge the quality of the food. If a restaurant can’t make that well, then the rest of the menu probably isn’t great either. You can truly taste the pride they put into their cooking. So, it’s definitely a thumbs up from me! The p... View all feedback.
What Joe H doesn't like about Cinco De Mayo:
Used to be my go to mexican restaurant since moving to Lexington. Today we ordered carry out. They gave incorrect change, portion was supposed to be a full size but looked the same as half, and I found a long hair in my food. The parking is terrible also. Guess I'll be finding a new go to mexican restaurant View all feedback.
Just got an order for pick up, ordered a ground beef quesadilla, got a cheese quesadilla. Ordered sopapillas for dessert and paid extra for ice cream, didn't get ice cream. I haven't eaten here for over a year because of the same issue while eating at the restaurant. Things haven't changed for pick up orders. I would recommend you try another restaurant.

Probably one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city. menu has a variety to choose from and really authentic. the staff is very courteous polite and efficient. the owner is very professional and polite as well. there are two locations in Lexington and both locations are EXACTLY the same.

Good food that takes me back to all the get togethers we had on my street as a child. I grew up in a heavy Latino influenced area.I always order the chicken fajita to test the water. If you can't make that good then the menus wack. Could tast the pride for their cooking in the food. So its a thumbs up for me. The portions are large and you get what you pay for when you dine in. The folks are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Take the time out to swing on by and stay for a while.
