I was very disappointed with my recent visit to this boba tea house. I've been there three times before, and while I found the prices a bit high, the drinks were of good quality. However, on my latest visit, I noticed that the prices had increased, and the quality had seriously declined. I paid $7 for a large grapefruit tea, as advertised on their menu, but instead, I received a grape-flavored tea that was utterly terrible and I ended up having to throw it away after just one sip. It tasted like grape syrup, similar to what you'd find on shaved ice, and there was no actual fruit in it. Additionally, the menu mentioned that all drinks were up to "their interpretation." To top it off, there’s a fee for using a credit card, which is quite inconvenient, especially during the COVID pandemic.
I tried the Taro and Brown Sugar Milk Tea, both at 50% sweetness, along with classic tapioca pearls. While it was enjoyable, I found it a bit sweet for my taste, so I might opt for 25% sweetness next time. I'm curious how sweet it would be at full strength because they certainly don't hold back on the sugar. I also noticed that the boba here has a creamier texture compared to other places I've been to. It almost tastes like there's a hint of heavy cream added, which makes it richer. Overall, I had a great experience, and I’ll definitely stop by again if I find myself in the area.
This is a really cool little bubble tea spot with a great atmosphere. They have upgraded cups with stylish snap-on lids. I ordered mine with 50% sugar, but next time I think I’ll go for the full 100%!
The cutest little bubble tea place I have seen in a while. They had a very wide variety of choices, and a pretty high level of customization. I was a little disappointed that they were sold out of their custard buns, but that probably shows how good theyare. The cafe was very clean, well decorated, and well lit. A sweet little trendy spot with very knowledgable and quick staff. Ionly have a couple complaints. The parking situation was a little misleading. There were paid parking meters directly in frontof the shop, but free parking for the whole shopping center just 5 feet down the road. Although slightly irksome, this did notaffect my score because it is not the shops fault. What did affect my score was the sweetness of the drinks. We had never beenhere before, so we went with 50% sugar which was advertised as normal. Unless you have a major sweet tooth, do yourself a favorand get 25% sugar or even less instead. The drinks, while delicious, were a extremely hard to finish due to their richness.Obviously, this will not be an issue for repeat customers as they will know to adjust the sugar, but a little off putting fornew customers. I would for sure consider changing this score higher after I try a less sugary drink later down the road. All inall, a cute trendy little spot, great drinks, great staff, and I would for sure recommend.
The service here is absolutely outstanding! The ladies are so nice and will help you choose an option if you prefer. They are so grateful for the business. I have tried a few different bubble teas and still haven't got one that I don't like. My favorite isthe mango milk tea with mango jelly star fruit. Of course it was a suggestion of one of the workers and wow I am so glad shesuggested it because it is now my favorite! This is my daughter's favorite place to get a speciality drink from! Thank youBubble Tea Studio!
