We went today for the second time and I have to say that I am very impressed with everything we have had. The fried dumplings are wonderful. The crispy scallion chicken is very good. We will be back soon to try more. View all feedback.
What Theo Dicki doesn't like about Panda Express:
Used to be GREAT... but owners/employees are RUDE, and the food is sub-par at best. On my final trip here, they forgot half my order... and when I told them about it, they rudely demanded that I bring the food back in so they could SEARCH MY FOOD. 20 minutes it took them to decide I deserved the dishes I had paid for. This is first-class Chinese food! We stop here about every week as one of our main dinners. We usually take out; and let me tell you that the food stays hot until we come home (about 15 minutes away! The food is always delicious! The vegetables are fresh and crisp since we visited the place! The staff is extremely human and helpful. They are fast and efficient. We recommend this Chinese restaurant!
Never penetrated, but great radiation! Only complaint is that they do not give a sauce (soy, duck or mustard), unless you ask. I'm so used to being bagged with a lot of sauces without asking. I forget to ask. It would be nice if the person who gives you your take would ask. Understand the cost of the business has so high that companies need to find ways to reduce costs, without service or quality of food. And not to put excessive amounts of sauces with takeout is a good way to reduce costs. But please ask your customers if they need the sauces!
Our family is quite new in Lexington and we finally decided to try to find our way to take Chinese place. After exploring several places in Lex and surroundings (Tyro, Denton, Thomasville, ect, we thought we would try this place first because of the reviews and is the closest to us. I'm excited to say we've been happy at the first attempt! We found our back-to-Chinese take. We have lived in different cities/states over the years and have some good Chinese takeout, but this is the best we had in a long time. We ordered online via their website and it was so easy. The only problem was that despite my information, I did not receive a confirmation email or text. Luckily they got my order and it was ready when I was there, what was nice! The lady who gave me my order was very nice. I live in rural Lexington and because of the way they pack the food to go (which is the best thing I saw that our food was still hot when we came home. The parts were enough to have tons of remains. This time we tried her orange chicken, which had great taste and generously coated in sauce. Chicken and Broccoli, who loved my husband and daughter, both said it was the best they ever had. Black pepper chicken cooked for perfection. Pork Fried Rice, Chicken lo my and white rice was all good. We also tried their spring roles that were just fine. They were almost dirty compared to the rest of the food. Overall, very happy and will definitely be a recurring customer.
Have to say I was upset with Panda Panda. My daughter called our order in for takeout and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. When we got there to pick it up the young man said he didn't have it at all. We had to wait an additional 10 minutes for them to prepare our food. No apology, no discount nothing. The food was delicious but I can't, unfortunately, say I will go there again. I almost feel bad because this place is really close to me and they do have great food but the service needs some work.
