Usually visit the mockingbird location but this one was closer to my destination. This place is way bigger and nicer than the other locations. Food was 100% fresh and hot. Delicious and authentic flavors. View all feedback.
What E H doesn't like about Aw Shucks:
The food was generally lacking in flavor, although the crab balls were an exception. Service was slow, and it took a long time to place our order. Both the dining area and restrooms could use some cleaning and upkeep. Just to note, I didn't try the boil. View all feedback.
Had lunch with 3 of my friends today. I can not express how delicious the oyster Poboy that I ordered was!! It was absolutely delicious!! The manager, Quincy VERY customer focused, polite and did a great job of managing the Lewisville store. Will I visit the restaurant again???…ABSOLUTELY!!!
First off we walk in the joint (we were visiting from Houston)asked them if we find our own seats or do they seat us? The girl up front said you can go sit anywhere so we do. A few minutes later we notice nobody was bringing our menus, ......long story short the food was Horrible the service was terrible If I could give this place a -1 that would be my rating. We spent $120.00 save your money..
The snow crab legs and crawfish were so good well seasoned! 10/10 recommend this place.
Aw Schuck's has good food. We were there when oysters where 24.99 a dozen and the were good. The gumbo was delicious. My girlfriend had a big salad with blacken shrimp and avocados. It looked and tasted very good. They had oysters on the half shell, grilled and fried.
First of all.. ketchup doesn’t go with raw Oysters, it just doesn’t. It’s mignonette. The lemons in the self serve were covered in gnats. The crawfish was seasoned… on the outside and juicy, if your juice is water. No flavor. I ordered the raw oysters got grilled. I gave them a try, I could barely find them under the loads of Parmesan. My husband got the catfish Po’boy w/ hardly any catfish. I am happy to pay $17 for oysters, but not on a couple of ice cubes no mignonette sauce. That’s part of the whole experience. None in the unkempt self serve station either. Unhappy for a birthday dinner. Do not recommend.
