I was just passing through and had a sudden craving for pizza, so I decided to stop here after reading the reviews. The option to get pizza by the slice was ideal for me since I was dining alone. The pizza was... View all feedback.
What Lori Anderson doesn't like about Alfredo's Pizza Pasta:
The restaurant wasn't busy, yet the service was incredibly slow. We noticed that other customers who arrived after us received their food long before we did. My mom ordered spaghetti with meat sauce, and despite us waiting for about 45 minutes, only three of us were served while her dish was still not brought out. She eventually decided to take it to go, but we would have preferred if her meal had arrived with the ot... View all feedback.
Wow how disappointing. I have been coming here for 25 years and little did I know right before covid they sold the place, so I hadn 't been there in the last 3 years, the pizza and food prior to its current ownership was amazing and it has totally gone to the wayside...what a shame. The pizza is no longer NY style and was horrible ! The Philly Cheese steak had little to no meat.. what a disaster !!!
Since the original family sold, quality and experience has gone way down. The restaurant smelled like sewer. The food was disappointing, to say the least. I pulled two bristles out of my mouth from the garlic toast I'm assuming they used a brush to apply butter or olive oil and it was falling apart. The food tasted frozen and was not what I ordered. The paper napkin they brought me had a food stain on it.Disgusting conditions, in my opinion.I will not be returning.
Pizza was not fully cooked, had a funky taste, like some of the ingredients had gone bad. Only thing that was good was the dough and crust. Based on the reviews this was a surprise, new owners?
This place screams no...but the reviews speak for themselves. The price point is great, especially for the quantity you get. The food is hot, fresh and delicious. The interior could stay as old and dusty as it us if the prices stay the same. You get great local servers and they are so kind. The owner is an amazing woman and her son owns and runs another restaurant in lubbock, TX called Italian garden which is just as good and fresh with great service.
I’m giving two stars and not one purely because the server was good.I came in for the first time and ordered the baked ziti. It came out In decent timing, but it came out about 1000 degrees too hot. Sat there for 15-25 minutes and it was still too hot to eat. The texture of the sauce was less than appealing, the pasta was soft and extremely unappetizing. The embodiment of the inside of the store screams “the owner is too cheap to replace the furniture and rugs that’s been here since we opened” .I am definitely extremely disappointed and will not be returning
