The only issue we encountered was that the lunch hibachi menu was a bit misleading. We ordered the lunch portions but were charged for dinner portions instead. The server didn't adjust this, so I hope it was just a misunderstanding rather than a restaurant policy.

I didn't realize until I was home. I called and the owner called me a liar. They had to talk to the bartender to find out the facts. They then called me back and said they would give me a gift card. I didn't want to ever go back. Then they offered to give me cash but I had to drive all the way back there. They refused to refund my credit card. I also tipped the bartender on my over priced bill. So she made out with $6 more than she should have after the mistake. They were not willing to help make things right. I'm so upset about all of this. So just know if they make a mistake they don't make it right

I'm baffled by its popularity—perhaps it's the hibachi grill during dinner, but lunch left a lot to be desired. I ordered the steak teriyaki with steamed rice, and it was nothing like any teriyaki I've had before. Having lived in Hawaii, I know what authentic teriyaki tastes like, and even the Japanese fast food at the Maine Mall food court is far superior! The miso soup was terrible, and the salad was equally disappointing. The rice tasted like it came from a box. I barely touched my meal. The server's attitude was unwelcoming, and I was surprised there was no acknowledgment of my dissatisfaction—typically, some form of compensation is offered in the restaurant industry for such situations. I can't believe my friend paid for the meal and even tipped the server $10 on top of that! My friend also didn't enjoy her meal but chose not to speak up. Overall, we experienced poor food, bad service, and an uncomfortably dark atmosphere. It was not worth our hard-earned money.
