Stopped by here while visiting my parents and I have to say this buffet is pretty awesome. Great price and wide selection of food, I had their Thai tea and it was amazing! Will stop by again while I?m here View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lucky Tree:
I ate here tonight with my father in law. 30 min later we are home with food poisoning. All 4 flavors of jello had visible mold on the entire pan of food. That was easy enough to avoid but we had already eaten dinner by the time we hit the dessert table and found the moldy jello. I also had some pineapple that was so far gone that it tasted like beer when I put the one bite in my mouth. When I tried to quietly speak... View all feedback.

When I tried to quietly speak to the server about my concerns, I was hushed and rushedout with the excuse that they were busy. There were only about 5 tables of people. Not even a quarter of the restuarant. I strongly urge people to eat elsewhere for the sake of their own health.
They are good the food is great but they have..Poor service and don't answer their phones and they don't listen they just assume
I would prefer to give a negative number but it does not let you. For almost 16 a person you would think they would have fresh food. The food looked like it had been there for weeks. Sad when a 8 year old is charged as an adult. Also the salt on the food was outrageous. I would not have paid the 55.00 bill but I did eat the broccoli seems that was the only food that you could eat not loaded in salt and was fresh.Sorry but the experience here was just nasty and hope my son my mom and I don't end up with food poisoning.
It is interesting to see (and taste) the differences between the same dishes standardly offered in various Chinese buffet restaurants. It is like they all work from the same cookbook but who have written notes in the margins for minor changes. We were delayed arriving at the restaurant and found out at the end that we were paying for dinner rather than the lunch we had planned. I am not sure I saw any offerings that made it worth the more expensive price. There were some small neck clams that weren't exactly memorable. Overall there was a good selection and most of what I tried was tasty. The peanut chicken had a good taste though parts of them were a little tough. The fake crab was dry so I bypassed it, but then there was a dish called seafood trio and the fake crab was tender and hot in that dish. My wife liked the fried and mashed potato but I passed on them. There was the usual uninspiring selection of tray-filled desserts and that soft serve ice milk that isn't close to Dairy Queen quality. My only dessert item was the apple pie pastry they usually have at buffets.
