What a fantastic hidden gem in a quaint strip mall in Lewiston! I stumbled upon this place while exploring the neighborhood on foot, and it was truly a great discovery. First off, they serve steamed clams that are fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious! My friend Lise has had the French onion soup twice and insists it’s fantastic. What A dislikes about Buddy T's:
Finding the restaurant was quite a challenge, even with Google Maps, because a banner for Melissa's obscured the Buddy T's sign. To reach the dining area, you have to go through the bar. The food was decent but certainly not memorable. At 1:00 PM, the restaurant was dimly lit and filled with laughter and loud, vulgar shouting from bar patrons, which made it uncomfortable. Fantastic food, welcoming service, affordable prices, daily specials, and a relaxed atmosphere. I absolutely love their baked haddock. The portions are generous!
Your salads, prime rib, burgers, and many other dishes are exceptional. The prices and service are fantastic as well. I have a suggestion: could you consider adding fried clam and fried scallop dinners to the menu?
