Great place to eat for a bite. All three had the chicken stall. Was delicious! They are dog-friendly on their partially covered deck. They brought him a bowl of water. Sunny was an excellent server! Will definitely go back to visit. View all feedback.
We had stopped here for lunch before we drove to a heather farm to get heidelberries. We had a great Low Carb lunch that fired us for the day. We dined outside on the back terrace and the service was wonderful. We had special wishes and everything was perfect. The weather was really amazing this day and we stayed a little extra just fun talking outside. We will definitely go back when we visit Lewisburg.
Great place! Food is good and reasonably priced. The menu is not enormous and I really like that, makes it easier to choose. Fully stocked bar! The drinks menu is twice the size of the food menu! They have interesting seasonal cocktails and an extensive beer menu. It was very clean and well decorated inside. I particularly liked the speaker system. Speakers were really well placed and it was obvious that someone took care in the setup. It sounded great and didn't have to be too loud for it to permeate the room. Would love to come back!
Oh my God! Food was spot on!! I highly recommend the A1 Peppercorn burger and the Fella really liked the Don 't Sue Us Burger the house cut fries had a lot a flavor. The Fella got the house chips Garlic Parm.. lots of flavor folks! The staff was hustling their butts off! We got an order of funnel cake fries to go! This is definitely a go to place if you are ever in Lewisburg WV!!!
If you find yourself on the lonely, mountainous stretch of I-64 between the hustle and bustle of central Virginia and the Appalachian highways of Charleston, The Asylum in Lewisburg is nice stopping point. The atmosphere is almost sports bar like without the loud, over the top TVs and blaring music. I had fried pickles and the Drunken Swine burger, both delicious. This will definitely be my stopping point if I found myself in this area again.
We stopped on Thursday at the Asylum for lunch and the food was amazing. I ordered the Asylum Burger with Parmesan Garlic Chips. My husband had the breakfast burger with salt and vinegar chips. Thank you later, you will definitely love this burger! I'll get it to my top 10 to taste.
