excellent mix of dazzling breakfasts, incredible fresh take bands and open all day for craft ale on tap. Everything at a very reasonable price with a take-off tea only £1.40 can not beat this anywhere in Lewes. View all feedback.

It’s hard to tell if The Patch Lewes is more cafe or tap-room. There's a huge refrigerator full of sandwiches to your right as you walk in and the air smells of frying food, so that’s ticked the cafe vibes. The the walls, however, are decorated with thousands of beer tap POS clip art, which collectively tell a colourful tale of the myriad of wonderful liquids from far and wide that have graced the taps here. The Patch Lewes is a humble yet valuable member of Lewes’ cafe and nighttime landscape. In truth the space could be a bit more comfortable for when you want to hunker down for a beery session. But in central Lewes, you just cannot beat The Patch for modern beer variety.

Good food. Small venue, so the quality is good. The waitress was lovely and she was singing along to all the songs playing which brought me joy . I would have gotten a coffee if they had syrups. That's my only recommendation otherwise a great little place for breakfast. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Nestled in the heart of Lewes, The Patch is a quirky café and taproom offering an impressive array of craft ales and delightful culinary options. With a unique decor and a welcoming atmosphere, it serves everything from dazzling breakfasts to Spanish pintxos, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Diners rave about the value and quality of dishes like veggie breakfast baps and fresh sandwiches, though some find select items a tad pricey. Friendly, accommodating staff enhance the experience, making The Patch a must-visit for locals and visitors alike in the vibrant landscape of Lewes.
