The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they are also dog-friendly. The breakfast was delicious and they were accommodating with our special dietary needs. This was our first visit but we will definitely be back again.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and the decor is unique and charming. It's truly a hidden gem.
I often get tired of sandwiches, but when I'm out and about on a busy day, they can sometimes be the only decent option, especially when it's 3.30pm and I haven't had breakfast yet. I decided to stop by The Patch in Lewes to grab something quick, and was pleasantly surprised by the originality and quality of the sandwiches they had available. I ended up choosing the smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich, which was a more traditional option, but it was exactly what I was craving at that moment. The bread was fresh and delicious, and every bite of the sandwich was amazing. Even though I'm not usually a fan of sandwiches, this one really impressed me and left me feeling satisfied. I never expected to be writing a glowing review for a sandwich, but The Patch exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in Lewes. Overall, the food was really, really good.
If you want to know what a good sandwich is go to The Patch. Toasties with hot chicken and bacon salad and mayo..its the best around.

Fantastic cooled can be found in the center of lewes. 6 keg beer, 1 store, 1 apple wine, a few bottles and a selection of pintxos (Spanish snacks). every day, a sandwich bar (beuren breakfast of 9,) at night a chilled can. wonderful!
Had some unusual beer here last Friday, all delicious. great to have somewhere else in the city.
Very quirky little place. The lady serving was so kind and welcoming offering to make us anything with any of the ingredients we can see. The atmosphere in there is lovely. Sadly the sandwich wasn't great and was a bit dry and for £4+ I would have to say it is rather overpriced.
