I recently discovered this restaurant while in Lewes and decided to try it out. I had the best lamb I've ever tasted and the staff, especially Eleanor, were fantastic. Can't wait to come back for another meal! View all feedback.
Had a really nice meal. I am a carnivore and nackenby is vegetarian. we both had a good meal. the personal is friendly and it seems that many native and return diners. too full for a pudding the meals are so satisfying.
Friendly service and very nice food, brought to your table. The kebabs are amazing and the chips are nice thin crunchy ones (not the huge hand cut slabs that are an alarming trend in some pubs). The steak is great too. There is more than one interesting bar area to dine in, and a good beer garden out the back. We return to the Swan every 2 or 3 weeks for a nice change from our local pubs and restaurants. Be patient when they are busy because good food takes time. Highly recommended.
I booked a table for my birthday, it had clearly been a crazy day and everything was running behind. Despite that, the staff were fantastic and the food was wonderful!!

Great food all made in premises! Visit the 2 gardens at the back as they are full of character! Nice atmosphere and a very friendly staff! Well done guys every min spent there is special!!! Xxx
