Smashmouth Burgers - Lewes

If you want a juicy mouthwatering burger, this is a place to satisfy that desire! Im real picky about my burgers...a burger snob if you will...these crispy edges and smash sauce is delicious! Great burgers!! Highly recommend! Had 2 in the same day!

The burger was amazing and I highly recommend it. Id give the Bacon Cheeseburger 5 stars. The Handcut Fries were a total waste of money. Burnt and/or over-seasoned; dark brown fries are really not appealing. I spent the extra $2.00 for queso thinking Id get some nice melted cheese for my fries, a little splurge. Nope. I got a container of some kind of cheese, very light colored, looked like there might be spices in but bland. Worst of all it was congealed, room temperature dairy type product, not hot melty deliciousness.

Smash mouth is where its at! the burgers are the best around ! my favorite is the Humongous Fungus but instead of blue cheese mayo I get jalapeno jam and ketchup and mayo. the fries are huge. everything is made to order hot and fresh. when doordash screws up (ex. dasher taking too long) Im not faulting smash mouth for that. they are top notch. smash mouth is a smash hit !

Ok, now we love SmashMouth however this last order was just not good…at all…. The burgers (3) were way to salty/seasoned unfortunately, barely had any condiments requested (to the point we had to add own), and the buns were stale/hard (which is difficult to believe because normally the burgers are a mess to pick up). This is no intention to drag SmashMouth but the last 2 times we’ve ordered, sorry it was bad. Will be sometime before we order from them again. Sorry to other die hard SmashMouthers, something has changed in quality.

Last night I got a burger and it was inedible. The burger was filled with the hamburger debris from the cooking without removing the burnt debris before cooking another order. Even my dog wouldnt eat. I doubt that I will order again as the burgers are too expensive to take a chance of this occuring again.
