from the time we entered we were treated with warmth and friendliness. We were seated promptly in one of the most desirable areas of the restaurant. Sufficient time was allowed by the staff to allow us to make our food choices and when the food arrived it was warm and delicious. The sauce used on the fish item was superb . The evening was made most pleasant by our favorite, Natalie. View all feedback.
What Richy Smith doesn't like about Bramble Brine At The Buttery:
Service was excellent. Drinks were excellent. My husband had the Steak Frites which was excellent. I had the Halibut which was very good but too many green beans and not enough potatoes. We were seated on the porch and even with the temporary windows covering the screens and the heaters it was quite chilly on the porch. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend with a comment that dinner will cost upwards of $125... View all feedback.
The crab cakes and carrot cake cheesecake were exceptional. The service and staff are always friendly and attentive.
Extremely friendly and attentive staff from the greeter, manager and all wait staff. No complaints. Only suggestion is to try to be sure there is adequate supply of menu offerings. Wanted the eggplant but was not available. Also for the oyster stew, my partner wanted a bit of sherry to add which is the usual recipe) but alas they had no sherry at all. they did offer brandy tho). The menu is rather mundane for such an elegant location and fantastic staff. Would like to suggest having occasional specials even if these would require specific reservations). Specifically, Dover Sole prepared meunière style table side would elevate the dining experience. The area is getting a more sophisticated dining crowd …both locals as well as visitors and dining experiences need to follow this trend. Overall however I would give the restaurant a 4.25 rating. The staff is fantastic!
Very cozy and comfortable. Our server Nick was very nice and professional! The chef, Sean is amazing!!! Absolutely loved the ribeye and my husband had a filet special. The presentation was top notch! Always a great time and amazing food and cocktails.
We shared the Charcuterie Board with the cured meats jam and mustard which was very tasty. For the wine we chose a bottle of the Chateau Lamour Merlot. My husband had the Rib eye over potatoes with a delicious sauce surrounding it. I had the Bramble salad with fried Brie croutons among other things, and a blueberry vinegarette dressing.
What an amazing restaurant! From the decor to the food to our friendly waiter, me and my sister had a wonderful time. Couldn’t recommend enough. The parsnip soup was to die for, and our cocktails were delicious. Each room is a bit different—we dined in the closed in porch and it was lovely. Can’t wait to go back soon!
