If you ever crave authentic poutine, this is the place to go. They offer it in various sizes and flavors (with beef, sausage, etc.), and in January, they discount their prices based on the weather. The colder it is (in Celsius), the cheaper the poutine - it's guaranteed at $10.

The poutine was underwhelming, despite some of the rave reviews. The cheese curds were fresh and squeaky, but the gravy lacked flavor and substance. Overall, it was decent, but I wouldn't consider it a must-try.

Ok, I admit before coming I was told by all my Canadian friends that I had to have Poutine. This is like a local McDonald's, but with some of the best Poutine in town. Squeaky cheese, crisp fries and a wonderful gravy. Take the advice...of our guide, if offered Poutine and it has shredded cheese, run! We tried to go back and have lunch and more, but they do t take credit cards, or didn't that day. Clerk was kind of snotty about that, but went for food, not the help.
