No matter what I ordered, it was almos... read more The Hahnheiser has been one of my favorite restaurants in Nippes for years. My rating is the quintessence of many visits. No matter what I ordered, it was almost always deliciously prepared and therefore tasted good. The lack of a star for the food is due to the fact that in individual cases the meat was too dry or too cooked and then not worth the price. Owner Kai Hahnheiser obviously does everything he can to ensure that these exceptions remain such, asks personally and does everything he can to keep the guest satisfied. Thank you for that and I'll be happy to come back again and again. What you need to know: it is sometimes quite loud in the Hahnheiser and it is difficult to have a conversation across the table, and parking in Nippes is a challenge. I travel by train or bike.

The food is really good, the prices are very reasonable. Feel-good place in Nippes. I simply appreciate individual gastronomy. There is still a lot of that here in Nippes. That's a good thing. Unfortunately, I will soon be leaving Cologne again. I will definitely miss the gastronomic culture, the “Hahneiser” in any case. Thanks to the entire crew for lovely, relaxing evenings.
