The first two dishes, grilled Calamaro... read more This was one of the best meals for several years (and we live in Milano where we sample Michelin Restaurants regularly). The first two dishes, grilled Calamaro with Kimchi and lettuce then Bottone con Melanzane were both extraordinary creative inventions. The third was a fish soup that was also excellent but less original and in fact unique than the first two. It is only a matter of time before the guides discover Leverano and this restaurant. Try it before it is too late! The service, by the partner of the chef, was friendly, efficient and informative, with good advice on the best local wines to try.

The “calamaro sporco” perhaps the best dish, with a touch of kimchi. The first course of ravioli stuffed with aubergines and accompanied by a sauce with mussels and tomatoes was also superb. The next dish, a sort of fish soup, was also very good albeit not at the level of the first two courses. Service very friendly and attentive. Reasonable price. This restaurant is a gem!!

The food and services were average below our expectations for a restaurant of that standing. I wouldn’t recommend it to someone else!

We were there with small kids of between 1 and 4 years old and we had to wait for the first plate from 8:45 until 10:45 which is already unacceptable! The kids... read more We were there with small kids of between 1 and 4 years old and we had to wait for the first plate from 8:45 until 10:45 which is already unacceptable! The kids got their plate at 10:45 and it came wrong. We ordered pasta without sauce and there came pasta with tomato sauce! Our second plate we got at 23:15 and the other tables which came all later already finished their dinner and they were all without small kids! My first dish (pasta) came cold and the fish was to raw. The service was unfriendly and cheeky. We were asking several times after one hour if they can bring the pasta without sauce for the kids since they were so hungry after two hours waiting and there only came rough answers. And when they finally brought the pasta for the kids wrong and I told them, their reaction was even worse! They were telling it was our fault! Then they didn‘t range away the empty plates.... Finally I can not recommend this restaurant at all. The only positive thing was the location.
