Although the Chinese who manage the place are earnest and friendly, Yamada 8 is unfortunately another imitation Japanese restaurant without imagination or technique. The rice is awful and the menu is the same as all other Chinese managed sudo-Japanese restaurants: boring and without appreciation of Japanese tradition. If looking for a good meal, go elsewhere. The kitchen and the service are top. We're quiet. When in the mood I can't pronounce myself. There's no one there when I go.
Excellent Japanese never disappointed for nearly 10 years of orders.
