12 of us dropped in on this place unannounced in the middle of a Wednesday afternoon. Who knew their specialty was Chinese food? But what the heck, we were good with that. They were very welcoming and the service was great. In no time at all they had all our meals prepared, hot and tasty. They even accommodated two of our group with delicious hamburgers. So, if you find yourself hungry in Levack, drop into the Bluebird Restaurant and Tavern.

wow these new owners will not deliver unless you have an 80$ order . I live in dowling and they denied our diner for 2 for delivery. sorry to break it to you all wanting to order a small meal but this is ridiculous. try to support local and this is the service you get. hope you fail as new owners your not in Toronto! This place is amazing! The pickup times are fast, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Whenever we want to treat ourselves to takeout, this place never disappoints. Make sure to try the pan-fried dumplings - they are absolutely fantastic.
Food is AMAZING! I love their honey pepper pork and their dumplings. We always get a dinner for 6...even of it's just the 2 of us so we have lots of leftovers
The food was fantastic. I appreciate that the sauces are true to the chef's style. I will definitely be returning. Kudos to the chef!
Service is good. Staff is friendly. A very quiet atmosphere. Plenty of space and not overcrowded. You can have a private conversation there with no worries. Food is excellent. Even the kids love it! Will rearrange tables to allow extra seating for any size group that comes in. Very helpful.
My mother in law loved Chinese food because of that place and no where else in the country did she ever find such a gem, I think she was right. If you’re in the Sudbury area, Blue Bird restaurant in Levack is the place you want to go for Chinese food!!! It sooooo worth the 30min drive. Dinner for 2 easily feed 4 and everything is made on location, egg rolls are crazy good… and their wonton soups the best I’ve ever had… So if you’re on way to Windy Lake, give it a try, you won’t regret it…
