Was John Dawson at San Antón a mag?
Menu of the day is always the best option when ordering food , this restaurant is family run , and you are always welcomed when returning to eat , it is always better to phone and reserve a table than be disappointed when you arrive , we always reserve a table in whichever restaurant we decide to eat at. Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
A place with a very acceptable menu at an affordable price (I think I remember €16, because they charged us for a drink separately and they didn't give us a ticket). The menu consists of a mixed salad to share, first course, second course, 1 drink and I suppose coffee and dessert. Because even though they asked us if we wanted them, they didn't clarify if they were on the menu, and since we didn't take them, I can't be sure. Point in favor: they don't charge you separately for the bread basket and the bread was very tasty. The food was very tasty, that's why I give it my highest score. Also a varied menu, for all tastes. Seafood, paella, pasta, vegetables, etc. Although seafood predominated. I don't know what they have on the menu, because they didn't give us a choice or inform us. Everything homemade, except for most of the desserts that I saw in the display case, which were industrial except for rice pudding or custard. Overflow service at peak meal times, but still didn't take too long. They give them a hand from the kitchen and although the waiters were kind on time, they lacked a smile and they didn't seem to bother us. Village bar atmosphere, and I don't say it bitterly because we prefer it. Old decor and outdated bathrooms. It would be nice if they were renewed. The ladies' toilet was clogged and I couldn't use it. They have a terrace, although they told us that the tables were not served. I don't know if it was because they were overflowing in the room or because they don't serve at any time. I recommend making a reservation if you are interested in eating there. For having a table and for having a variety to choose from since the paella dish may not be reached. The bar is small, if you want to have tapas at the bar, there isn't much space. I would repeat for the food and the price.
