What a lovely place in the hart of Eden on the Bay........just love everything about them, the décor, friendly staff and great food. (more especially the cakes) and fur sure the best coffee around.
Favourite breakfast spot in Big Bay.<br/ <br/ It has become a tradition to have breakfast at Cup Cake every Saturday morning.<br/ Delicious food, and a total value for money!<br/ My fiance always has the breakfast buffet which is an absolute treat.<br/ Would absolutely recommend this establishment.
From a quiet unnoticed coffee shop in a centre that doesn't boast much traffic, Cup Cake has found its pulse. All in the name of good marketing in tune with today's tough economy.<br/ Buying vouchers from Hyperli and the likes is a tried and tested way of getting the feet in as well as getting ones secret exposed.<br/ It's really a win win as people love a bargain.<br/ <br/ The buffet display was not as attractive as it should or could've been. It was quite cramped but offered a sufficient array of tasty quality fare.<br/ <br/ Service was not good. Perhaps they were understaffed and overbusy but they certainly need to brush up in this area.<br/ <br/ My spouse ordered sparkling water which was out of stock along with still water and other soft drinks. Instead of running across the corridor to buy drinks for the client, we did that ourselves.<br/ A missed business opportunity.<br/ <br/ The decor is splendid and presentation of food really faultless.<br/ We would try it out again on a week day.
I loved the atmosphere of this place. We turned in here on a whim as we passed simply to try them out. The shabby chic theme isn't revolting like that seen in certain bars these days, so sipping tea poured from their styled teapots was a cosy delight. With friendly service and decently priced food, I look forward to future visits.
Early morning breakfast and catch-ups!Cutely decorated coffee shop and friendly staff serving you in Afrikaans (as a Afrikaans girl living in the Southern Suburbs, it 's a rarity and a delight when it happens! .Food-wise, we had the salmon eggs and benedict and Ham, Cheese and Mushroom Omelette, which was average.BONUS: they have 'coffee in a cone ' which is the perfect beverage/dessert to end your meal with.
