What Michael Pollich doesn't like about The Penny:

First of all, none of the menu items are clearly marked, and it wasn't easy to figure out what I could eat. It was sort of dependent on which staff member you asked. Had the pleasure of trying a few items here and I have got to say, it was like eating your granny's cooking baking

Some of the best vegan pastries I have ever had! Amazing vegan lunch options as well! They also offer lots of non-dairy milks and they always have vegan baking.
Really good experience overall. Pretty good amount of vegan options. With vegan cupcakes, cinnamon twist and apple turn over twists. And even a vegan salsa pretzel. They make everything in house which is also awesome. Vegan cheese and vegan mayo also available to substitute.
I had the pleasure of trying a few dishes here, and I must say it felt like eating something that was lovingly prepared by Grandma.
