I Love this IHop compared to a few Ive tried in Alberta! The staff are friendly, helpful and are quick. The coffee is great, the restaurant is taken care of and the food comes out looking amazing every time. I personally get the Gluten Free Pancakes from IHOP and I have to say, THEY ARE THE BEST! We dined here (Mayor Magrath on August 29, 2020. Hubby had an omelete (this alone was a whopping $17.00 , hash browns bread (supposed to be toast . He enjoyed the omelete (again a whopping $17.00 , the toast was white (not toasted and had no butter (we may have detected a small dab in the center? , and the hash browns were the smallest order we've ever seen. Me and my partner came in after a night out, looking for some good breakfast. We were waiting 20 minutes for someone to take our order, and we had to ask staff to get our order taken. Then we waited just shy of an hour, for half decent food. Absolutely will not be back until staff learn how to run a
Came in for Saturday brunch, and we waited 10 minutes for our drink order to be rang in (there was maybe 10 tables in here at the time we arrived) and another 10 for our drinks, then sat for 20 minutes for our server to take our order and I had to flag down another server because ours didnt acknowledge us. When she finally came over she said she ‘forgot about us’. Then our food order came out and specifications were obviously not rang in because both things we requested werent done. Really unimpressed with our service today. We were sitting for an HOUR total before our food hit the table, again, there was maybe 10 tables in here. Ive been waitressing for 10 years, I dont expect perfection because I know people have off days, but it seems she just didn’t care anout providing good service, or more about the tips from other tables.
