Saw the wing night sign and been hooked since. Biggest wings in the city at 6.50 on wing night, cheapest beer and the service from bartender was second to none. Highly recommend Bar 1 View all feedback.
What Margareta Ene doesn't like about Bar One Urban Lounge:
My fiancé and I checked in and decided to go down to the bar called 'bar one' for a drink after meeting there after our long drives. The bartender was friendly but not very helpful as her friend was there that proved to require more attention. There was other customers waiting at the bar while she continuously dissapeared. Had a few drinks here while staying in Lethbridge. The beers on tap were over corbonated and watery. Stuck to bottle beer after the first one.
We stayed in the Sandman, and wanted to go down for a drink on Friday evening at about 11 pm. The bar was closed! Staff was still inside, but the door was locked. It said that they were open till 2 am, but when we asked the front desk staff, they said that they were slow, so they closed. We ended up going to the little beer store in the plaza instead. Disappointing.

We left and hung out in our room for a couple hours only to come back to see that her and a couple other girls that worked at the hotel were at the pub talking about drugs/sex and other inappropriate things. We are an easygoing couple but we changed our booking for the next nite to another hotel. Very unprofessional and the yelling from the girls was offensive. We did not need too see them draping themselves over random customers. It was discusting
This was a horrible experience. The service was absolutely terrible, as it felt as if the server was too focussed on chatting with a patron at the bar, than she was in taking my drink order. When they finally did take my order, it was in an un-enthused, snarky demeanor. Onto the product; The beer on tap was extremely flat, as were my associates'. The food was severly disappointing. The fish sticks were something that I could have purchased at the local Safeway, without paying a premium price. In fact, they resembled the cheap grocery store brand. The nachos that were ordered to start off our meal (and were raved about by our server) could have been a practical joke. I am not embellishing the specifics of this dish. The chips appeared to have been poured out of the bottom of a Tostitos bag, as there was not a chip larger than half a credit card. The cheese was dry, and the "sauce" and "beef" both looked, and tasted, as if it was a cold can of chili, dumped on top. These nachos cost as much as a plate of mussels at any decent establishment. Needless to say, I will never eat at Bar One again, and along with that, will never stay at the hotel in which is attached ever again. For a hotel that boasts how "Corporate friendly" they are, the establishment attached does not assist with that reputation.I will n
