Since this was quite some time ago, I don’t remember what else I tried.

I have been to many Kegs throughout the years and noticed a few changes for the worse that I feel I should mention. First of all, the service was good and was prompt and professional, as well, the atmosphere was what I have always experienced in a Keg which is warm and nice. There were six of us and we all had different meals (including various steaks and even a salmon). My wife and her Mom also ordered a caeser salad which was a huge dissapointment. It was almost dry and had little to no flavor. I know it may seem like a small problem in a steakhouse, but they used to say the Keg had one of the best caeser salad 's they had ever had, and the last 2 times they are very different and dissapointing. The steaks were good, not amazing, but good and cooked to the right temperature. I had ordered the peppercorn sirloin, and it had one small spoon of sauce which barely covered a small section of my steak (in the past, it used to smother my steak). I gave it 3/5 based on the entire experience, but the food issues, which is really why we were there, is where the problems were, and because we did not complain at the restaurant, which is partially because we don 't want it to be a big deal, but we do want to share our feelings with the restaurant and fellow patrons as things don 't change unless you mention problems. We also felt it was more expensive than past visits, and for a decrease in food quality.

When my... read more The Keg has completely changed my perspective on red meat. I'm not usually a fan of steak, likely due to my father's rather unfortunate cooking methods. When my boyfriend took me here for a special night out, I was admittedly hesitant, as I didn’t think I would enjoy the experience. However, I was pleasantly surprised! We had an amazing meal, the service was excellent, and the prices were quite reasonable. I enjoyed a Caesar salad, a very tender sirloin, delicious shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes, and some vegetables—though I was so thrilled to be enjoying the steak that I don’t recall what they were. We will definitely be returning!

The service was exceptional from beginning to end; I felt like a valued customer the moment I walked in. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about the prices, worrying that the quality might not match. However, once I tasted my food, all my concerns melted away. The steak was cooked to perfection, the potato was delicious, and the grilled vegetables complemented everything beautifully. Our server, Jordan, was incredibly friendly and quickly noticed that we were from the States. He shared helpful information about some local customs and practices. Overall, we enjoyed great food, excellent service, and a wonderful experience! As a nice surprise, we even received a complimentary bottle of the house steak sauce just for being first-time visitors.
