it took some time to find the place because it is just above. but climbing the stairs is really wild. the cozy restaurant has a great view of both sides. when they ask for vegan eating, they are invited to see what they have and that was a lot! huge end, green beeping in tomatensauce, zucchini flowers with rice, aubergine in tomatensauce, okra, beetroots and gorta. all very tasteful! updated by the previous review on... What User doesn't like about Women's Cooperative Of Petra:
the restaurant has a beautiful and unique view of the sea from a roof terrace. mainly visited by Greek persons/locals. the entrance is a little hard to find. they find it a street between the tourist shops. they serve only local people. they offer wines of good quality. the number of vegan options are limited, but not different from all other restaurants on the island lesvos. the personal is very friendly. If you enjoy overcooked vegetables, this is the perfect spot for you. The plates are not served at the same time, so some diners may have their food while others do not. I would give this restaurant 3 stars for the excellent view.
Finding the restaurant may take a bit of effort as it is located upstairs, but the climb is definitely worth it. The cozy restaurant offers a fantastic view from both sides. Upon requesting vegan options, you are shown a wide selection of dishes including Giant Beans, green beans in tomato sauce, zucchini flowers with rice, aubergine in tomato sauce, okra, beetroots, and gorta. All of them are delicious!
This restaurant offers a stunning and one-of-a-kind ocean view from its rooftop terrace. It is primarily frequented by Greek locals. The entrance may be a bit tricky to locate, as it is tucked away in an alley between tourist shops. The menu features only traditional local dishes, with a selection of high-quality wines available. While vegan options are limited, this is consistent with other restaurants on the island of Lesvos. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
