We've been to this restaurant a few times. Whenever we visit our family in lot, we try in the rule, a dinner or lunch in au vieux four. it is a beautiful family restaurant with traditional French cuisine, we always go with happy...tum full! prices are very reasonable and the quality of food is excellent! cannot wait to come back!

We only had the plate de jour, which was only average. Most of the customers looked like workers or day-laborers. But my (French) parents went here the day before and ordered a whole 5 course dinner and couldn't say enough good things. I believe the...reviews on here are authentic, and this is the number 1 place (near) Martel.

I have been coming to this restaurant since 2007, which was my first visit to this area. I have since come to Turenne every year for two weeks since my first visit. I can almost say that I return every year so I may eat...at Au Vieux Four. The food is fabulous, not expensive, and always has a friendly staff. I think the atmosphere is quite charming. The out door patio is very refreshing. The menu has a nice choice of meat, chicken and seafood. And my favorite, the foie gras is prepared several ways....yum yum
