Service was a little slow but very friendly and it was busy we got the last table and it was only 12.15!! Beware, the French eat lunch out early and the restaurant closes at 1.30pm until dinner (19.00 20.30) quite short opening times I thought. Large choice of excellent gallettes and crepes with equally good cider formidable! Would definitely go again if we go back to Les Pieux which we hope to soon!

The restaurant has a pleasant and clean interior but everyon... read more Les Pieux is a pleasant but ordinary French town and all the other diners at Le Theman were French. The restaurant has a pleasant and clean interior but everyone was eating outside overlooking the main street. In addition to crepes they serve gallettes, salads and other meat courses. Service is quick and friendly and the whole party enjoyed the meal. In particular the salads were great, washed down with cider. This is not really a destination restaurant but worth visiting if you are in the area. In particular it is close to the Cherbourg ferry and there is easy parking nearby. A good lunch for 4 with drinks was €40.

The chocolate filling was delicious. All washed down with traditional Normandy cider
