I can only say, what i had for lunch was wonderful. I have frog legs. I strongly suggest having a reservation as this is a popular place for lunch. We were fortunate that there was a table for two so we were seated. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Saint Andre:
Food was not tasty at all, from the starter till dessert... My husband had meat, it was extremely fat so all the night after dinner he was suffering! I took the menu for 46 euros , nothing special. They were very grid for cheese! If you want to be disapointed about what you are eating, you may try this poor restaurant. If not, my sincere advise is to avoid it! The patron was very cold, not smiling! We will never come... View all feedback.

On a sunny day passing Chambery at midday this is an idyllic setting to sit on a nice sheltered terrace over looking a pretty little lake and vineyards. Worth visiting just for that. Food I'll reserve judgment on as have eaten well here in the past, but not this time. The other plus is that you won't see a single Savoyard dish on the menu, which is pretty creative when the kitchen is working well. I will try again next summer as it's a lovely spot!

A little treat for ourselves as we were going to spend the afternoon sampling some of the local vineyards. Having contacted a local vineyard beforehand this restaurant was recommended to us. We had the lunch menu at 33 euros and a bottle from the quite extensive wine list. They do not do wine by the glass but clearly mark that they are happy to recork and for you to take the bottle with you.We had a wonderful lunch outside on the terrace, judging by the amount of people it was a good idea to reserve ahead of time. Good service accompanied by generous helpings and how they manage to bone a fish while leaving it pretty much whole is quite impressive. Every plate was tasty and well cooked and thought out. We were very happy to have had this place recommended to us, and throughly recommend it to others.
