In just over a week we experienced 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 1 dinner plus numerous coffees! Not once were we disappointed. The coffee in Alba is delicious - best we found in the area. Amazing breakfasts and kindly catered for our vegan son. The best porridge he has ever had. The curries and burgers are great and all have a little twist. The couple that run Alba really know how to make you feel welcome and produce excellent food and willing to meet all dietary needs. An absolute must if in the area.

I've had many curries in my life all over the world, and the flavours here are amazing... just make sure you take a few friends so get to sample more dishes...!!.. best curry I've had in years, and certainly the best you will ever get in the mountains. We had:CHICKEN TIKKA BHUNA CURRY-> Thicker and More Intense Sauce Well-Spiced with Milder Heat > -CHICKEN KATSU-> Crispy Japanese Fried Chicken> Mild Curry Sauce, Steamed Broccoli with Soy Dipping Sauce BEEF SHIN MADRAS-> Medium to Hot Curry with Grilled Peppers & Tomato, Basil CINNAMON & GARLIC FRIED RICE > FRIED GARLIC FLAT BREADS WITH DIPS AND RELISH all amazing!! can't wait to go back to try the other dishes on the menu...really good value too, ;)
