Auberge Du Vourbey - Les Fourgs

We tried to go to this restaurant in early August but the road was blocked and no indication on the Fourgs road regarding the opening or closing...

What an adventure! Soirée rando snow en montagne, aux Fourgs, côté Vourbey/ Herba, pour objectif raclette/fondue à l'auberge .. we swore, to finally get out with a smartphone app boussole, another on GPS and the last in relation to the hostel and Google Map! Long live technology!! That said, we had fun with the dogs in the snowy night! And then, we were very well festoyed, friendly atmosphere and good franquette, refuge limit in the middle of the mountain, at a small hour from the village. Very nice. Reservation required!

The Vourbey hostel is located in a pleasant little val, not far from the cross-country ski slopes and on the Le Tourillot snowshoe track of the Fourgs station. On a snowshoe ride, we were very welcome and were able to enjoy a good cheese crust (of course county!), accompanied by a glass of Jura savagnin. The terrace is very pleasant, with a beautiful view of the nearby Chasseron. Prices are very correct and children welcome. Thanks to the owners to offer such friendly stops that then provide very good holiday memories!

Good fondue for 1 snowshoe hike in 1 beautiful panorama

We were yesterday and there was a great attention! the warm place that people feel. We were taking a walk of partners. the reservation was made before. was requested coffee dessert wine fondue drink welcome. is very close to getting there 4 km from the village and then continue in another sense with 2 km more. accepts tdc/ tdd. very friendly.
