Originally could not be booked as full for eve meal on the same day). Owner/Koch then re did his sums and pursued us on the road to say he could manage it! we have good air in the city parking lot. beautiful cellar dining room with...fire interesting local aperitifs and beer. simple set menu, but all local and good. we had lens and beet soup with hunks of interesting brot, kalb with fig on Carmargue rice, pear clafoutis €57 for two including drinks! I don't write often cries, but they deserve it. they should go if in the opposite.
After an exhausting walk in the mountains we were very happy to find a nice place to have delicious food and a fun and nice owner. antoine knows how to keep a real but funny discussion. in any case a place to eat when they are on the way. the prices are simply ridiculously reasonable.
So a beautiful place to stay his candid, the new owner is not customer-friendly, isn't intrested at children stay there, trying to meet a single mother and treats sweat as hypocrites the eating is limed.
Rather weird, a little theatrical. already there was like a discomfort and we wanted to turn the heels (the first impression is often the right one). the waiter installed us around a small table of children with small red skai armchairs and my knees passed just under the table yet I'm not very big. we chose a maoche menu at 19 € because it was the only really local dish that we were offered. After 20 minutes of waiting we had a plate with 2 steam potatoes, 3 salad leaves and 3 or 4 pucks of a small sausage that they call a maoche (happyly we didn't do 15 kilometer of hiking). The maoche is not that at all, we know this speciality of the ardéchois plateau because we are from the region, so there is deception! Then followed 3 tiny little bits of cheese in just clean plates. desserts were the same invoice with an apple pie and an industrial chocolate cream. Even the wine was not good. We know how to make the difference because we are in the business. It should also be noted that we were installing any ready kitchen and that we did not smell any cooking and heard no noise from pans or pans in the kitchen, which is very curious for a restaurant inn.
