However, we were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon a small cafe in the middle of the afternoon. The cafe features a small parking lot and a terrace that wraps around the restaurant. The service was very friendly and there were plenty of fresh food options available in addition to the posted burger and sandwich menu. This cafe is conveniently located near the ferry, making it a great stop for those headed that way.

Very friendly welcome, you order at the cash register and sit wherever you like, inside or on the terrace (note: no credit card accepted, bring cash). Fresh club sandwich with good toasted bread, perfectly grilled homemade fries, generous hamburgers at reasonable prices, the famous "poutine," and on Fridays a lobster specialty. As a bonus, a delicious homemade lemonade with no added sugar. In short, a gem in a very charming village on the banks of the St. Lawrence River that is worth a visit.
