What User doesn't like about Les Marmottes Cuisine terroir en altitude:
We made a reservation for Sunday lunch at 13h30 while skiing last Sunday. After waiting too long, we ordered a small salad and a terrine for starters and a marmite and cordon bleu for Main Course. First came the cordon bleu, shortly the salad and the terrine followed immediately by the marmite. Service was an unorganized disaster but with the exception of the Cordon Bleu the dishes were good. This place burnt to the ground a few years ago but has risen, Phoenix-like, from the ashes to become one of the best mountain restaurants on the Swiss side of the Portes du Soleil. I have only visited in winter but it has a lovely sun facing terrace which overlooks the Dents du Midi affording a magnificent view.One minor criticism is that access on skis is not that easy for a beginner.
