This mall used to be bustling and had everything you'd want. However, after Zellers closed and was replaced by Walmart, it really affected the mall's vitality. Many of the independent stores shut down because they couldn't compete. Zellers offered a wide range of products, but they were generally low-quality and inexpensive. Walmart, on the other hand, provided better quality items at similar low prices. Now that Zellers is gone, the mall still has a few stores scattered about, but it feels like it's fading away. On a positive note, it remains quite clean, and there's a little jungle gym for kids to enjoy.
I 've heard many great comments about the Exess shoe store in the Faubourg de L 'Ile so I thought I 'd go check it out today. All I can say is 'Wow ' what great service and their owners Alan and Lorena were so friendly and attentive. You just don 't get that type of personalised service anymore and I was so impressed. I ended up buying two pair of boots because they gave me such a great deal. I also mentioned that my father needed new slippers because he was in the hospital but I wasn 't sure what kind or size to buy him so Alan gave me 2 kinds of slippers in different sizes to bring to the hospital to try them on my father. He said just bring them back sometime next week. What a kind person. So please if you 're looking to buy some new shoes or boots, please take the time to visit them in the Pincourt Mall. You won 't be disappointed.
I have heard great things about Excess and just visited to pick up a couple of pair of shoes they have great selection, service, pricing. i needed shoes to match my champagne coloured dress and am very tall they had exactly what i was looking for ... very happy and will be back
I always liked this shopping mall, although it now seems to be running on fumes, with most of the businesses closed down. The WalMart is closing in a couple of weeks. I hope something can be done to rejuvenate the place.
My wife and I go to this place at least once a week, and we've never had any issues with customer service at any of the stores. The two we frequent the most are Wal-Mart and Canadian Tire, with PharmaPrix coming in next. However, we’ve noticed that both the Wal-Mart and Canadian Tire here are much smaller compared to their other locations in the area, which has led us to experience some difficulty in finding the items we need.
