we ate this noon in the watchmaker peasant .perfect .the top kitchen. the very nice boss is competent to advise you on the choice of wine. Concerning the plate that of pleasure, a thousand leaves of divine crab, sole fillet with very good shrimp and the original dessert in order that of pleasureI recommend you a visit to the boechet the watchmaker peasant has found a duo in the continuity of the former managers View all feedback.
The Swiss Jura is known for its culinary heritage, and Le Paysan Horloger lives up to this reputation. A young couple recently took over the restaurant. I decided to try it while walking along the scenic landscape. Dining room and terrace are very small. This, combined with a single menu, gives a pleasant atmosphere of table d'Hote instead of restaurant. For the nice service friendly and attentive, but inconspicuous. The food is delicious, with a distinctive French touch. Yuzu marinated raw tuna came fresh and subtle as a starter. As the main course I had coated rabbit fillet in a crust of Burgundy snails quite original but very tasty combination! A delicious chocolate croquant crowned the delicious lunch. Prices remain with Swiss standards, the three course menu costs CHF72.00. Access is easy, the tiny train stop Le Boechet is just in front of the door.
I invited my parents to eat this week at this restaurant. That was the right choice. The restaurant was well visited and did not feel too crowded. Is in a beautiful location, the trip there was unforgettable. The food was great. Well cooked and presented, each course was well proportional and the value of our meal was good.
We liked locally very well: simple and simple, beautiful atmosphere. the two waitresses were very friendly and well trained. each course was explained in detail. eating was at very high level, quality impeccable, very creatiw, beautiful presentation on very special porcellan. the wine card is comprehensive, in the open-ranking were to find special drops, these were also very charmingly sold. However, the portions were very small: a three-speed menu also did not fill a slim woman - so still the cheese passage with two slices brot before dessert had to. the creations of the menus are very special - but for our taste there was a lot of chichi: the two drops of asparagus crème do not necessarily have to be praised on the teller and not necessarily specifically. less is sometimes more. Also it would be great to introduce more regionality and seasonality: short and fairy in juni do not really fit.
Resto gastro. We pay the price but it's excellent. beautiful decor, charm and with a small watch museum in the basement.
