Le Terrace De Le Lac Bleu - Les Allues

Situated at the base of the Morel chair this is a great little restaurant at very unmeribel prices. Ribeye steak and fries was 16eur, tartiflette 13eur etc. All excellent quality and well presented. Nine of us went for a long lunch and everyone had an excellent meal. Well worth a detour.

It was cold today so this warm, friendly restaurant was welcome. We sat inside and it was really warm. Defrosted my toes. Soup with broccoli was good, plus really crispy chips. Cider also good.

The Terrace has a new cabin with a wood fired oven. An excellent entrecote and chips with a good bottle of red at a very reasonable price. With a view accross the valley from the terrace and positioned right beside the start of the Morel lift and the end of the Hulotte piste this is a good Meribel lunch stop.

An unscheduled pit stop from our morning ski and a welcomed break. The food is very reasonably priced. The vegetable soup was lovely as was the macaroni cheese
