L'Alti 16 - Les Allues

I visited maribel with 3 friends on the March 2022 for 4 days and this restaurant was too foot of our rooms, so decided to check it. I called for hours to make a reservation and no one would even pick up, but finally... I managed to reserve a table. when we arrived, we were shown on our table and the only waitress did as if she hadn't spoken English. as I speak fluent French, I have made the order for all that was: 2 entrecôtes, 2 pizzas, 1 cheese and cold cuts plate and their most expensive bottle wein. about 10 minutes later, the waitress returned and informed us that they had run out of the escape. we found it very strange because we were the only ones who had just opened. we were then informed that there are several specials daily (why were we not told during the ordering? and we chose a slowly cooked pork in beer with kartoffelmash and some noodles with sweet. 5 minutes later we were told that they run out of the kartoffelmaische!!! and our only possibility for a lunch was noodle with sweet. came out of a cheese plate, but we didn't get any teller! we asked for tellers and the waitress brought them to the table! at this point we would normally have migrated out, but after a full day of skiing we were very hungry, so decided to stay and order another bottle of wine. in the meantime were 3 more tables with people sitting 20 30 minutes after us, eating their pizza and we hadn't served anything from the plate yet. about an hour after our order, with the restaurant with only 4 10 tables full, our food arrived. the pizza was very simple, but ok, but the noodles and pork steak (not cooked in beer or slowly cooked as described are unacceptable bad. we decided to finish the pizza, pay the bill and go. when we went out, the non-English speaking waitress was fluent, to be rude in English, we paid 170 eur and left starving. all reviews of this place are fake, this is a pizza with the best ads to become a restaurant, but is still very far away. a scandal for French tourism! avoid them at all costs!

We had a few meal times here during our time in meribel, eating was decent, good price-children's menu (if also somewhat limited), but the service was excellent. contempt, friendly and definitiw worth visiting.

Great friendly owner who is lively and welcoming. they make great pizza and we tried the tartiflette that was delicious. Garlauchbrot for the starter was a bit burned to our joy, but the owner made himself for easy loss of food quality with free...hots of local drink, gen pi, on our way out with loud music that created a party atmosphere.

Really happy with our meal, very nice people, English spoken, good food. Very reasonable prices and nice environment. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant. Fantastic pizzas, deserts, and beer. The owners couldn't do more to make us feel welcome. Fantastic restaurant. Thoroughly recommend. We will be back next year. Thankyou.
