Arrived as a tourist, left like a king! Avoid the sea views at Parisian prices... Go to Tanguy restaurant on the Océane, you 'll stuff yourself and leave happy! Thank you again!
Friendly staff, efficient service. The seafood platter for 2, ordered at the same time as the aperitif, was excellent! The mussels with blue cheese were good, but the blue cheese flavor wasn't too pronounced... and the stuffed clams were good, but there were few of them, and they are normally served without fries
It's impossible to pass through Noirmoutier without stopping at a good mussels and fries restaurant. This is the one we chose on our way to the August 15th fireworks in L'Herbaudière. We were in a bit of a hurry to avoid the traffic jams on arrival, so we went straight to the point. The waitress understood perfectly, telling us she'd grown up there... As a result, the food arrived very quickly, it was good, and quite affordable. It was hot on the terrace, but there was plenty of room inside. We had a very pleasant time. The small shop by the till sells a few salt souvenirs and some local hop-based products. A simple and welcoming place—perfect for those who enjoy that sort of thing!

Ok, the dampened modules and fries are very good! everything else is over ground! when they go to the evening meal to la marine, they do not go to lunch.
The key to a successful menu is a limited number of meal times so they make sure they do what they do perfectly. at l’oceane, the dishes are simple and caught a few hundred meters away. do not cook imagination, just steam for most of. the shellfish, climb for the oysters, maybe some carrots to freeze and here we go. simple, fresh, good. nothing more, nothing less. and yes, some local beer and wee make good company for the meal. everything is very affordable. the opening hours before the journey should be checked.
We were looking for a Mussels and French Fries Restaurant. We found this restaurant around Noirmoutier. The restaurant is at the production plant. Mussels are very fresh and well cooked. It is very good to be at the plant. Unfortunately the French Fries are not...home made... It was industrial frozen French Fries... It is very bad... In this area they are doing potatoes so it can be very easy and better to have fresh French Fries. About the waiters they are so much professionals ... But we can excuse them as it is a restaurant at the plant... If you want fresh Mussels go to !
Ok, the steamed modules and frites are very good! Everything else is beyond basic! If you are going to La Marine for dinner, do not go here for lunch.,,,
