Large sardines and big mushes. the native, coquinas. super tasty food for a very good price. cheaper than the more in the city. art the basic of the situation, but a good opportunity to experience this part of Europe, in the spanish-Portuguese...cross-border South-Touch. the only: at the moment I would suggest the community to invest more on street care.
Had tapas here one lunchtime, consisting of Russian salad, tuna in garlic oil, octopus salad and beef in red wine. Also had a large beer and a generous glass of tinto de verano and it came to euros. Really lovely food and completely authentic,...although they do have English translations on the menu and one of the waiters speaks good English
Just returned from a golf holiday at Islantilla with friends and went to this bar/restaurant on our first evening when we stopped there for a drink. At the nights end there were no taxis so the bar owner, Manolo, took us back to the...hotel free of charge so we decided to go there to eat the following night. Manolo is a fisherman so all the fish in the restaurant are fresh and prepared by him. We had two large plates of boquerones in vinegar (an absolute must), a large plate of grilled prawns and a large plate of langostines as starters which we shared. My one friend and I then shared a large lenguado (sole) for main course and the other two had pork fillets. These were served with mixed pepper and onions and chips. We had bottles of Cune Rioja and all for euros each. Fantastic value. We went there again two nights later when we ordered in advance a seafood paella which was extremely large and delicious. We all agreed that this was one of the best restaurants we have visited in Spain over many many years. Incidentally the waiter Juan, who is a great character, took us back to the hotel after our meals! If you visit, please remember this is a fishermans' bar and not one of these modern pretentious restaurants. The staff and are all extremely friendly and good fun and we will definitely return.
This fish restaurant is absolutely amazing. simple facility, but very authentic and excellent fish dishes always fresh. the familiy-own restaurant is a must if they are in islantilla la antilla and in small next street behind the beach prommenada.
Another great meal in this friendly family restaurant. we ordered well half racion and had our filling with drinks included euro fantastic. not a chic restaurant, but clean and fun. try to die salmonettas, almejas muscheln). Baby oktopus etc. Thank you...for a great meal. we'll be back before we go.
