Food is great and it’s truly Japanese, comparing to other counter parties i.e. the way sashimi is cut, miso soup and small side dishes. We ordered sushi regular, Hire Katsu and spicy tuna salad. All were good. No picture for spicy tuna salad because it was so good I forgot about it Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner View all feedback.

A top-notch Japanese restaurant at a higher price point than average, but then again, they offer quality, and that's why i love it so much! I am a regular and I love the family oriented staff. Their service and food reflect their amazing history and culture, and I thank them for their service and their curtesy towards me as a client.
**Meal Type:** Dinner **Price Per Person:** $50–$100 **Food:** ★★★★★ **Service:** ★★★★★ **Atmosphere:** ★★★★☆ I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for dinner, and overall, it was an exceptional experience. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect five stars for its quality and flavor. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, though I would rate it slightly lower at four stars. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic dinner!
When the food arrived, it was a mixed bag. Some dishes were good, while others were just okay—not nearly as impressive as my previous takeout experience. Then, something unfortunate happened: one of the servers accidentally spilled hot water on my pants and coat while attempting to refill my water, despite my request for cold water. I understood it was a mistake, so I reassured the server that it was alright. Another server brought over extra napkins, but that was the extent of the response. What surprised me was that no one offered an apology for the incident. The staff seemed visibly uncomfortable and avoided making eye contact with me, continuing to bring more napkins instead of addressing the situation. At the end of our meal, the oldest server simply gestured to ask if we were ready for the check. Having worked in a sushi restaurant during college, I understand that servers can feel shy or flustered. However, when a hot liquid spills on a customer, professionalism and empathy should take priority. This experience revealed the true character of the restaurant, and despite its apparent popularity, I can no longer recommend it to anyone.
The food here is excellent and authentically Japanese. You can really taste the difference in the way the sashimi is sliced, the miso soup, and the variety of small side dishes compared to other places. We ordered the regular sushi, Hire Katsu, and the spicy tuna salad—all of which were delicious. I completely forgot to take a picture of the spicy tuna salad because it was so good! Service was great as well. Overall, a fantastic dinner experience.
